ADJOURNED SESSION
January 16, 1973 - 12:00 NOON
The City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Adjourned Session in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall in said City at 12:00 Noon, on January 16,
1973.
Mayor Turner in the Chair,
Present: Councilmen Cavanaugh, Dykeman, Mabrey and Miller,
Absent' Councilmen Cohea, Keller and Morrissey.
63303 - The City Council investigated and found that pursuant to notice of inten-
tion to issue $2,000,000 Pollution Control Revenue Bonds (Iowa Public
Service Company Project), Series 1973, of said City duly given by publi-
cation on December 14 1972, in the 'Waterloo Daily Courier,' a legal
newspaper published and having a general circulation within said City,
this Council met on January 2, 1973 and conducted a public hearing at
the time and place specified in said published notice, and that said
public hearing had been adjourned to the time and place of the present
meeting.
Whereupon, it was moved by Miller, seconded by Dykeman that Resolution
No, 22376, a Resolution authorizing the issuance of $2,000,000 Pollution
Control Revenue Bond (Iowa Public Service Company Project),, Series 1973,
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for the purpose of acquiring easements
and acquiring, improving and equipping pollution control facilities
thereon; the execution and delivery of an Indenture of Trust to secure
said Bonds, the execution and delivery of a Lease Agreementbetween
said City, as lessor, and Iowa Public Service Company, as lessee; the
sale of said Bonds; and related matters, be adopted.
On roll call, Cavanaugh, Dykeman, Mabrey, and Miller voted Aye. Nay:
None, Absent: Cohea, Keller and Morrissey. Mayor declared the reso-
lution adopted,
63304 Moved by Dykeman, seconded by Mabrey that the Council adjourn,
Motion carried
