HomeMy WebLinkAbout11/13/1989City Council Work Session November 13, 1989 6:00 p.m. Large Conference Room Members present: Mayor McKinley, Dell, Buck, Fox, Angel, Wright and Budak. Mayor McKinley stated that the survey results of an intern from the University of Iowa, Marisel Del Valle, have been completed. The purpose of the survey was to determine public opinion on how the City was doing delivering services and setting long term policies. The survey indicated that the public is concerned not only with economic development but also the appearance of the City. Marisel Del Valle presented specific survey results in the form of an executive summary, a copy of which is available in the office of the Clerk/Auditor. No official action was taken on this matter. In the City's efforts to inform citizens of the City's priorities, a ward meeting for Ward 1 was announced for Thursday, November 16, 1989 at 7:00 p.m. at Central Intermediate School. The topics of discussion will include economic development, street repairs, appearance of the City, and citizen survey results. The public is encouraged is attend.
