Mayor Rooff in the Chair. Roll call: Getty, Penaluna, Roehr, Dowie, Burton, Bowers. Absent: Wilharm Invocation by Bowers. 85008 - Moved by Roehr, seconded by Dowie that the Agenda, as amended for the Regular Session of November 21, 1983, at 7:00 p.m., be accepted and approved. Motion carried. 85009 - Moved by Burton, seconded by Bowers that the Minutes of the Regular Session held November 14, 1983 at 7:00 p.m., be approved. Motion carried. Mayor Rooff welcomed Scout Troup #182 - Byrnes Park HEARINGS AND BIDS 85010 - Moved by Roehr, seconded by Burton that proof of publication of notice of public hearing for the F.Y. 1984 Construction of foundations for a Sewer Department Building at the Water Pollution Control Plant, Contract No. 261 as published in the Waterloo Courier on November 9, 1983, be received and placed on file. Motion carried. 85011 - HOLD HEARING --This being the time and place for public hearing the Mayor called for written and oral objections and there were none. Shaulis Road, to allow for redesignation of seven (7) acres of land from multiple family to single family uses, together with recommendation of approval be received, placed on file and 'Resolution setting date of hearing as December 12, 1983 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers on above described request", be adopted and Clerk/Auditor instructed to publish notice of hearing accordingly. ORDINANCES TO BE ADOPTED 85023 - Moved by Bowers, seconded by Getty that "an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2644, known as the Traffic Code, by repealing Subsection (47) Idaho Street of Section 541, increasing speed limits in certain areas, and by enacting in lieu thereof new Subsection (47) Idaho Street and (47a) Idaho Street to Section 541, increasing speed limits in certain areas", be received, filed, considered and passed for the second time. Motion carried. 85033 - Moved by Burton, seconded by Bowers that recommendation of the City Engineer to accept the apparent low bid of Chuck Heene Construction be received, placed on file, approved, and "Resolution awarding the F.Y. 1984 Construction of Foundation for a Sewer Department Building at the Water Pollution Control Plant, Contract No. 261 to Chuck Heene Construction, in the amount of $45.900.00", be adopted.
