May 2, 1983
The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Regular Session at
City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa at 7:00 p.m., on May 2,
1983. Mayor Rooff in the Chair. Roll Call: Roehr, Wilharm, Bowers.
Absent: Getty, Penaluna, Dowie, Burton.
The Mayor announced that due to lack of a quorum, no action could be
taken on the agenda items, except that the public hearing could be
opened and adjourned to May 9, 1983.
Mayor Rooff introduced and welcomed Troop 2 from Zion Lutheran Church
and the 8th graders from First Presbyterian Church.
The Council proceeded to the scheduled public hearing.
83967 - Moved by Roehr, seconded by Wilharm
that proof of publication of notice of public hearing on the vacation
of alley in Block 5, Original Plat East Waterloo --Rath Union Elderly
Housing Project located at East Park and Sycamore, as published in
the Waterloo Courier on April 26, 1983, be received and placed on
file.
Motion carried.
83968 - Moved by Bowers, seconded by Roehr
that Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation of approval be
received and placed on file.
Motion carried.
83969 - Moved by Bowers, seconded by Wilharm
that said public hearing be adjourned until May 9, 1983 at 7:00 p.m.
in the City Hall Council Chambers.
Motion carried.
The Mayor announced that all other Council items would be considered
at the next regularly scheduled meeting of May 9, 1983. The Mayor
declared the meeting adjourned.
