RESOLUTION NO. 2018-091 RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS MARCH 5, 2018, FOR A REQUEST BY MICHAEL CRANE TO VACATE A PLATTED 20' UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED ALONG THE SOUTHERLY PROPERTY LINE, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A 12' X 16' 192 SQUARE FOOT SHED, LOCATED AT 235 NIAGARA DRIVE, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th day of March, 2018, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a request by Michael Crane to vacate a platted 20' utility easement located along the southerly property line, for construction of a 12' X 16' 192 square foot shed, located at 235 Niagara Drive, and legally described as follows: THE TWENTY (20) FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT AS PLATTED ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 2 OF WESSELS MINOR PLAT EXCEPT THE WESTERLY EIGHT (8) FEET THEREOF, ALL IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA. Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February 2018.
