RESOLUTION NO. 2015-574
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF CHRISTIAN
FELLOWSHIP CHURCH FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE
NO. 3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Christian Fellowship Church is requesting a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 19, 2015 from 11 : 00 a.m.
to 1 : 30 p.m. in conjunction with the Parking Lot Praise event to
be held at 930 W. 4th Street with the use of microphones and
amplifier, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Christian Fellowship Church has made formal
application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 19,
2015 from 11 : 00 a.m. to 1 : 30 p.m. , together with recommendation
and approval of the Director of Safety Services .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Christian Fellowship Church
for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 19, 2015 from 11 : 00
a.m. to 1 : 30 p.m. , in conjunction with the Parking Lot Praise
event to be held at 930 W. 4th Street, including the use of a
microphone and amplifier, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of July, 2015 .
