RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF HEARING AS MARCH 5,
2018 FOR THE APPROVAL OF A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH IOWA HEARTLAND HABITAT FOR
HUMANITY, WHICH INCLUDES THE SALE OF SEVEN
PARCELS OF LAND IN THE WALNUT NEIGHBORHOOD,
ACQUISITION OF A PARCEL IN THE CHURCH ROW
NEIGHBORHOOD, $28,000 TO ACQUIRE ADDITIONAL
PROPERTIES IN THE WALNUT NEIGHBORHOOD, AND
THE CONSTRUCTION OF HOMES 1N THE AREA, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th day of March 2018,
to approve the sale and conveyance of seven parcels of land in the Walnut Neighborhood,
acquisition of a parcel in the Church Row Neighborhood, $28,000 to acquire additional
properties in the Walnut Neighborhood, and the construction of homes in the area, to Heartland
Habitat for Humanity, and instruct City Clerk to publish said notice.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February 2018.
