RESOLUTION NO. 2018-097
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT,
AND ESTIMATE OF COST, ETC., AND SETTING DATE OF
BID OPENING AS MARCH 8, 2018 AND DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS MARCH 12, 2018, FOR 5TH AND 6TH
STREETS SYSTEMIC TRAFFIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS,
AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, bid document, form of contract, and
estimate of cost, etc. in conjunction with the 5th and 6th Streets Systemic Traffic Safety
Improvements, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the 5th and 6th Streets Systemic
Traffic Safety Improvements, be scheduled for March 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo,
Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 12th day of March
2018, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the 5th and 6th Streets Systemic Traffic
Safety Improvements.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February 2018.
