RESOLUTION NO. 2018-098
RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS MARCH 8, 2018 AND
DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS MARCH 12, 2018 FOR THE
PURCHASE OF ONE (1) AUTOMATED SIDE -LOAD
GARBAGE TRUCK AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
with the purchase of one (1) automated side -load garbage truck, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) automated
side -load garbage truck, be scheduled for March 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 12th day of March
2018, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the purchase of one (1) automated side -load
garbage truck.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
