RESOLUTION NO. 2018-102
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND THE CHICAGO
CENTRAL AND PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, FOR THE WEST
DONALD STREET RAILROAD CROSSING SURFACE REPAIR
PROJECT, WITH THE CITY'S SHARE OF THE COST TOTALING
$24,000.00, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
AGREEMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the State of Iowa Grade Crossing Surface Repair Fund Force Account Agreement dated
February 19, 2018, between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the Chicago Central &
Pacific Railroad Company and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for reconstructing one crossing of 57
total feet that includes 35 feet of rubber surface material through the traveled roadway and 22
feet of rubber surface material through the shoulder or sidewalk area, with the City's share of the
cost totaling $24,000.00, in conjunction with the West Donald Street Railroad Crossing Surface
Repair Project, is hereby approved and the Mayor authorized and directed to execute said
agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February 2018.
