RESOLUTION NO. 2018-103
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, CHICAGO CENTRAL
RAILROAD COMPANY, AND PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY,
FOR WEST PARKER STREET RAILROAD CROSSING SURFACE
REPAIR PROJECT, WITH THE CITY SHARE OF THE COST
TOTALING $57,000.00, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the State of Iowa Grade Crossing Surface Repair Fund Force Account Agreement between
the Iowa Department of Transportation and the Chicago Central & Pacific Railroad Company
and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for reconstructing two crossings of 228 total feet that includes
120 feet of rubber surface material through the traveled roadway and 108 feet of rubber surface
material through the shoulder or sidewalk area, with the City's share of the cost totaling
$57,000.00, in conjunction with the West Donald Street Railroad Crossing Surface Repair
Project, is hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said agreement
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February 2018.
