RESOLUTION NO. 2015-686
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF CORINTHIAN
MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH TO HOLD A MILES FOR
MILLS MEMORIAL 5K EVENT IN HONOR OF PASTOR
MILLS ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2015.
WHEREAS, Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church has requested
that they be allowed to hold a Miles for Mills Memorial 5K event
in honor of Pastor Mills on September 12, 2015 starting at 7 : 30
a.m. , beginning at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church,
traveling on Linden to the MLK Bike Trail to Idaho, Newel,
Mobile, Sumner then to Linden returning to the church, together
with the approval of the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 7 : 30 a.m. , with the route
to start and end at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Corinthian Missionary Baptist
Church- to . hold a Miles for Mills Memorial 5K event on September
12, 2015 from 7 : 30 a.m. , beginning and ending at Corinthian
Missionary Baptist Church, along with intersection control and
street closures, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 2015 .
