RESOLUTION NO. 2015-684
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF FRIENDSHIP
VILLAGE TO HOLD THE RACE TO REMEMBER 5K/1-MILE
RUN, WALK, ROLL, BIKE OR BLADE EVENT ON
OCTOBER 3, 2015.
WHEREAS, Friendship Village has requested that they be
allowed to hold the Race To Remember 5K/1-Mile Run, Walk, Roll,
Bike or Blade event on October 3, 2015 starting at 9: 00 a.m.
traveling on the Friendship Village campus, sidewalks and side
streets, together with the approval of the Director of Safety
Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 9: 00 a.m. , with the route
to start and end at Friendship Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Friendship Village to hold
the Race To Remember 5K/1-Mile Run, Walk, Roll, Bike or Blade
event on October 3, 2015 beginning at 9 : 00 a.m. on the Friendship
Village campus, sidewalks and side streets, be and the same is
her;.-1--y approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 2015 .
