Invocation was by Getty. 82471 - Moved by Roehr, seconded by Wilharm that the Agenda, as amended, for the Regular Session of June 7, 1982 be accepted and approved. Motion carried. 82472 - Moved by Burton, seconded by Bowers that the minutes of the Regular Session held May 24, 1982 at 7:00 P.M. be approved. Motion carried. HEARINGS AND BIDS 82473 - Moved by Bowers, seconded by Dowie that proof of publication of notice of public hearing on sale and conveyance of property generally located west of South Barclay Street and south of Glenwood Street as published in the Waterloo Courier on May 21, 1982 be received and placed on file. Motion carried. 82474 - HOLD HEARING --This being the time and place of hearing, the Mayor called for written and oral objections and there were none. Moved by Roehr, seconded by Wilharm that the sealed bid be received, placed on file and Clerk/Auditor instructed to read and refer to Plan and Program Department for review and recommendation: BIDDER E.J. Groves, Jr. Motion carried. AMOUNT $610.00 82475 - Don Temeyer, Plan and Program Director, reported that the bid was not submitted on the proper form; however, this formality could be waived. Moved by Bowers, seconded by Dowie that the bid of E.J. Groves, Jr. in the amount of $610.00 for property known as Lot 11, Auditor's Rainbow Plat of Cooley's Addition be received, placed on file, and "Resolution authorizing sale and conveyance of above described parcel to E.J. ORAL PRESENTATIONS 82516 - Irvin Kressley asked the status of the Street Repair Program in Cedar Terrace Addition. The Mayor reported that the frequent rains have delayed the project's progress but that the Street Department would be laying asphalt soon. An objector was heard regarding the proposed oiling of the alley bounded by Fowler, Courtland, Irving and Lane Streets (See C.R. 82514 relating to the F.Y. 1983 Oiling Program, Contract No. 235). Moved by Getty, seconded by Bowers to table action on the above described alley for one (1) week.
