The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Regular Session at City Hall
Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa at 7 p.m. on June 7, 1982. Mayor Rooff in the
Chair. On Roll Call: Present: Dowie, Burton, Bowers, Getty, Penaluna, Roehr,
and Wilharm. Invocation was by Getty.

that the Agenda, as amended, for the Regular Session of June 7, 1982
be accepted and approved. Motion carried.

that the minutes of the Regular Session held May 24, 1982 at 7:00 P.M. be
approved. Motion carried.
HEARINGS AND BIDS
82473 - Moved by Bowers, seconded by Dowie
that proof of publication of notice of public hearing on sale and conveyance
of property generally located west of South Barclay Street and south of
Glenwood Street as published in the Waterloo Courier on May 21, 1982 be
received and placed on file.

written and oral objections and there were none.

82516 - Irvin Kressley asked the status of the Street Repair Program in Cedar Terrace
Addition.
The Mayor reported that the frequent rains have delayed the project's progress but
that the Street Department would be laying asphalt soon.
An objector was heard regarding the proposed oiling of the alley bounded by Fowler,
Courtland, Irving and Lane Streets (See C.R. 82514 relating to the F.Y. 1983 Oiling
Program, Contract No. 235).
