The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special Session at City Hall Council
Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa at 8:00 A.M., on April 14, 1982. Mayor Rooff in the Chair. On Roll
Call: Present: Getty, Penaluna, Roehr, Wilharm, Bowers, Dowie. Absent: Burton.
82186 - Moved by Roehr, seconded by Bowers
to receive and place on file Copies of the Call. Motion carried.
82187 - Moved by Wilharm, seconded by Penaluna
that "resolution approving two-year contract with the Waterloo Policemen's Protective
Association", be adopted. Ayes: Six. Absent: Burton.
Resolution adopted and upon approval by Mayor assigned No. 1982-130.
Mayor Rooff thanked the staff, Police Department and the Policemen's Protective
Association for their efforts in arriving at this contract. He also stated that this
contract signaled a new beginning for the Police Department.
