RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO CONSIDER THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE
OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY THROUGH THE
NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM, LOCATED
AT 1027 LAFAYETTE STREET, TO JOSE BONILLA
GUTIERREZ AND SIMONA DEL CARMEN ZAVALA FOR
THE PURCHASE PRICE OF $92, 000, AS AUGUST 24,
2015, AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN HAROLD E. GETTY COUNCIL
CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet in Harold E. Getty Council Chambers at City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 24th day of August, 2015, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon the sale and
conveyance of city-owned property through the Neighborhood
Stabilization Program, to Jose Bonilla Gutierrez and Simona Del
Carmen Zavala, located at 1027 Lafayette Street, legally
described as follows :
The Northeasterly 55 feet of the Southeasterly 1/2 of Lot
No. 8, in Block No. 24, in the Original Plat, on the East
Side of the Cedar River, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, and the Southeasterly 37 . 57 feet of Lot No. 9;
and the Southeasterly 37 . 57 feet of the Southwesterly 5 feet
of Lot No. 8, in Block No. 24, in the Original Plat on the
East Side of the Cedar River, in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17h day of August, 2015 .
