The Council of City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Special S;-ssion in the Co,incil
Chambers in City Hall at 4:00 P.M. on June 28, 1978, pursuant to the fo.._low-
ing call:
TO CITY COUNCILMEN OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
You are hereby notified that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, will be held at the Council Chambers in City Hall, in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 28, 1978 and that said
Special Meeting is being called for the purpose of a hearing and consideration
of amending the current budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1978.
You are further notified that no other business except ':he above will be
transmitted at said Meeting.

Due, timely and legal service of the above notice is hereby accepted this 26th

Special Meeting of June 28, 1978 at 4:00 P.M. in the Council Cb.ambers
in City Hall, be received and placed on file. Notion carried.
74557 - Moved by Roehr, seconded by Getty that the proof of publication of
notice of hearing on proposed Amendment of Current City Budget for
fiscal year ending 6/30/78, as published in Waterloo Courier on
6/21/78, be received and placed on file. P11oticn carried.
74558 - This being the time for hearing, the Mayor called for oral and written
objections, and there were none.
After public hearing on the proposal to amend the 1978 Fiscal Budget
as published in the Waterloo Courier on June 21, 1978, and no objec-
tions having been made or filed, the Council gave final consideration
to the proposed amendments to the said Budget.
Moved by Dowie, seconded by Getty that "Resolution amending the cur-
rent budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1978", be adopted,
with any increase in expenditures to be met from the increased non -
property tax revenues and cash balances not budgeted or considered
in this current budget; and with no increase in tax levies to be paid
in the current fiscal year of 1977-1978; that the Finance Director
be directed to correct his records accordingly and the City Clerk to
certify a copy of this amendment to the County Auditor of Black Hawk
County and the State Comptroller. Ayes: Five. Absent: Burton,
Hutchison. Resolution adopted and upon approval by Mayor, assigned
No. 25839.
