RESOLUTION NO. 2015-615
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF PAUL PRESCOTT
FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Paul Prescott is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on August 29, 2015 from 4 : 00 p.m. to 8 : 00 p.m. in
conjunction with a neighborhood block party event to be held in
the 500 block of Vermont Street, including the alley, with the
use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Paul Prescott has made formal application for
a variance to the Noise Ordinance on August 29, 2015 from 4 : 00
p.m. to 8 : 00 p.m. , together with recommendation and approval of
the Director of Safety Services .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Paul Prescott for a variance
to the Noise Ordinance on August 29, 2015 from 4 : 00 p.m. to 8 : 00
p.m. , in conjunction with a neighborhood block party event to be
held in the 500 block of Vermont Street, including the alley,
with the use of a PA system, and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day August, 2015 .
