RESOLUTION NO. 2015-616
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF SHARA A.
ADDERLEY FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094,
NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Shara A. Adderley is requesting a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on August 22, 2015 from 5 : 00 p.m. to 11 : 00 p.m.
in conjunction with a birthday party event to be held at the
Cedar Vista Shelter at Exchange Park, with the use of a PA
system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Shara A. Adderley has made formal application
for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on August 22, 2015 from
5 : 00 P.M. to 11 : 00 p.m. , together with recommendation and
approval of the Director of Safety Services .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Shara A. Adderley for a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on August 22, 2015 from 5 : 00 p.m.
to 11 : 00 p.m. , in conjunction with a birthday party event to be
held at the Cedar Vista Shelter at Exchange Park, with the use of
a PA system, and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of August, 2015 .
