RESOLUTION APPROVING ROOFF AVENUE RAILROAD
CROSSING SURFACE REPAIR AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND THE CHICAGO
CENTRAL AND PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF A 72-LINEAL FOOT CONCRETE SURFACE
CROSSING AT THE ROOFF AVENUE RAILROAD CROSSING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Rooff Avenue Railroad Crossing Surface Repair
Agreement dated June 29, 2015, between The Iowa Department of
Transportation, Chicago Central and Pacific Railroad Company, and
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for the installation of a 72 lineal
foot concrete surface crossing at the Rooff Avenue railroad
crossing, for a total estimated cost of $166, 865 . 00, to be paid
in the following way: 60 percent by the Iowa Department of
Transportation, 20 percent by the Chicago Central and Pacific
Railroad Company, and 20 percent by the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
is hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized and directed to
execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of June 2015 .
