RESOLUTION NO. 2015-656
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF JIM KOCH FOR
VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Jim Koch is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on September 6, 2015 from 4 : 00 p.m. to 9: 00 p.m. in
conjunction with the University Avenue Cruise event to be held at
University Avenue and Greenhill Road, with the use of a sound
system for radio broadcasting, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Jim Koch has made formal application for a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on September 6, 2015 from 4 : 00
P.M. to 9: 00 p.m. , together with recommendation and approval of
the Director of Safety Services .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Jim Koch for a variance to
the Noise Ordinance on September 6, 2015 from 4 : 00 p.m. to 9 : 00
p.m. , in conjunction with University Avenue Cruise event to be
held at University Avenue and Greenhill Road, with the use of a
sound system for radio broadcasting, and the same is hereby
granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th of August, 2015 .
