RESOLUTION NO. 2015-670
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT
TO CARPENTER UNIFORM, OF DES MOINES, IOWA,
AT A COST OF $54, 964 . 00, FOR THE PURCHASE OF
LEVEL III TACTICAL BODY ARMOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the contract with Carpenter Uniform of Des Moines, Iowa, in
the amount of $54, 964 . 00, in conjunction with the purchase of
Level III tactical body armor, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project in Resolution No. 2015-635, after public hearing on
August 10, 2015, on published notice required by law, is hereby
accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute said
contract with said contractor for the purchase of Level III
tactical body armor, and said contract will not be binding on the
City until approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of August 2015 .
