RESOLUTION NO. 2015-674
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT
TO CARPENTER UNIFORM, OF DES MOINES,
IOWA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF LEVEL II BODY
ARMOR REPLACEMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the five year contract with Carpenter Uniform of Des Moines,
Iowa, in the following amounts : $635 . 00 the first and second
year, $649. 00 the third year, $664 . 00 the fourth year, and 679. 00
the fifth year, in conjunction with the purchase of Level II body
armor, described in the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted by this Council for said project in Resolution No. 2015-
637, after public hearing on August 10, 2015, on published notice
required by law, is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest
bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute said
contract with said contractor for the purchase of Level II body
armor, and said contract will not be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of August 2015 .
