RESOLUTION NO. 2015-598
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF TIMOTHY AND
CHANTELLE BENTLEY FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE
NO. 3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Timothy and Chantelle Bentley are requesting a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 30, 2015 from 1 : 00 p.m.
to 9: 00 p.m. in conjunction with the Day of Peace for Dae' Qvan
Campbell Block Party to be held at Allen & W. 5th Street, with
the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Timothy and Chantelle Bentley have made formal
application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 30,
2015 from 1 : 00 p.m. to 9: 00 p.m. , together with recommendation
and approval of the Director of Safety Services .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Timothy and Chantelle Bentley
for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 30, 2015 from 1 : 00
p.m. to 9: 00 p.m. , in conjunction with the Day of Peace for
Dae' Qvan Campbell Block party to be held at Allen & W. 5th
Street, with the use of a PA system, and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of July, 2015 .
