RESOLUTION NO. 2015-594
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN FOR THE
REQUEST BY DW, LLC TO VACATE A PORTION OF THE
EXISTING UTILITY EASEMENT, LOCATED ADJACENT
TO 230-250 WEST HILLS LANE, AS AUGUST 10,
2015, AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN HAROLD E. GETTY COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 10th day of
August, 2015, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a
proposal to vacate a portion of the existing utility easement,
located adjacent to 230-250 West Hills Lane, and legally
described as follows :
All that part of Parcel "R", Document No. 2012-17524 in the
Black Hawk County Recorder ' s Office, and that part of the
Southwest (SW 1/4) Section Five (05) , Township Eighty-eight North
(T88N) , Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
except that part of aforesaid Parcel "R" lying South and
Southeasterly of the following described line; Beginning at the
most Southerly corner of aforesaid Parcel "R"; thence N66008 ' 41"W
Sixty-four and Thirteen Hundredths (64 . 13) feet along the
Southwest line of said Parcel "R"; thence N90°00100"E Thirty-
seven and Ninety-eight Hundredths (37 . 98) feet; thence
N33°34 ' 17"E Two Hundred Sixty-six and Fifty Hundredths (266. 50)
feet to the Northwesterly line aforesaid Parcel "R" and to the
point of termination of aforesaid line containing 0 . 15 acre,
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
