RESOLUTION NO. 2015-592
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF KNIGHTS OF
PYTHIAS FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094,
NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Knights of Pythias is requesting a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on August 1, 2015 from 2 : 00 p.m. to 9: 00 p.m. in
conjunction with the Second Annual Fun Day event to be held at
Ferguson Field Park, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Knights of Pythias has made formal application
for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on August 1, 2015 from 2 : 00
p.m. to 9: 00 p.m. , together with recommendation and approval of
the Director of Safety Services .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Knights of Pythias for a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on August 1, 2015 from 2 : 00 p.m.
to 9: 00 p.m. , in conjunction with the Second Annual Fun day event
to be held at Ferguson Field park, and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of July, 2015 .
