RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
MARCH 26, 2018, TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY HOPE M.
ANDERSON TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 129.16 ACRES
FROM "A-l"AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "R-1" ONE
AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT, LOCATED
NEXT TO 5805 KIMBALL AVENUE BETWEEN KIMBALL
AVENUE AND HIGHWAY 21, AND NORTH OF E ORANGE
ROAD, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 12th day of March
2018, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by Hope M. Anderson to
rezone approximately 129.16 acres from "A-1"Agricultural District to "R-1" One and Two
Family Residence District, located next to 5805 Kimball Avenue between Kimball Avenue and
Highway 21, and north of E. Orange Road.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
