RESOLUTION NO. 2018-163
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK,
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY MCGILL RESTORATION, OF
OMAHA, NEBRASKA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $531,132.00,
FOR THE FY 2017 EAST 5TH STREET PARKING GARAGE
REPAIRS, CONTRACT NO. 930, AND RECEIVE AND FILE
TWO (2) YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, McGill Restoration, of Omaha,Nebraska, in the amount of$531,132.00, for
the FY 2017 East 5th Street Parking Garage Repairs, Contract No. 930, in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, and
WHEREAS, McGill Restoration has completed the aforementioned project in accordance
with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of$531,132.00.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work performed by McGill Restoration in the amount of$531,132.00, in conjunction with
the FY 2017 East 5th Street Parking Garage Repairs, Contract No. 930, are hereby approved, and
the two (2)year maintenance bond is hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of March 2018.
