Members present: Mollenhoff, Jordan, Getty, Krizek, Collier,
Anders.
Members absent: Murphy.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Collier that the Agenda, as proposed,
be approved. Ayes: Six. Absent: Murphy. Motion carried.
The proposed Waste and Used Tire Ordinance was reviewed. Section
14-104(c) was added to the ordinance. No more than eight waste or
used tires or combination will be allowed in any area zoned
residential as set out in the Zoning Ordinance or used or platted
for residential purposes. The tires must be stored at all times in
a fully enclosed structure.
The storage requirements will be revised to allow tires to be
stored in storage racks or an approved container. Businesses that
store their tires in trailers or store more than the maximum number
allowed under the ordinance can request a variance to the
ordinance.
The above revisions will be added to the proposed ordinance.
Council requested that the ordinance be placed on the next council
agenda with the revisions highlights.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by
Jordan, seconded by Mollenhoff that the meeting beadjourned at
5:57 p.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Murphy. Motion carried.
