RESOLUTION NO. 2018-127
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS MARCH 29, 2018 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS APRIL 2, 2018 FOR THE FY 2018
ANSBOROUGH AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS FROM US 20 TO
SAN MARNAN DRIVE, CONTRACT NO. 942, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
with the FY 2018 Ansborough Avenue Improvements from US 20 to San Marnan Drive,
Contract No. 942, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the FY 2018 Ansborough Avenue
Improvements from US 20 to San Marnan Drive, Contract No. 942, be scheduled for March 29,
2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 2nd day of April 2018,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the FY 2018 Ansborough Avenue Improvements
from US 20 to San Marnan Drive, Contract No. 942.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of March 2018.
