RESOLUTION APPROVING ORDER ACCEPTING
ACKNOWLEDGMENT/SETTLEMENT-AFFIRMATIVE
DEFENSE FOR HY-VEE, INC., 4000 UNIVERSITY AVENUE,
WATERLOO, IOWA 50701 FOR SALE OF TOBACCO TO
MINOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the Acknowledgment/Settlement Agreement, dated March 5, 2018, for the affirmative defense
sale of tobacco to a minor, between Hy-Vee, Inc., 4000 University Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa and
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby approved, and the Mayor is authorized to execute the same
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5h day of March 2018.
