RESOLUTION NO. 2018-193
RESOLUTION APPROVING CANCELLATION OF
ASSESSMENT FOR 801 GLENWOOD STREET, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $417.95 FOR MOWING AND WEED
ASSESSMENTS, 715 HAMMOND AVENUE, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $184.57 FOR SIDEWALK REPAIR, 1134
BERTCH, IN THE AMOUNT OF $312.86 FOR SIDEWALK
REPAIR AND 129 CHESTNUT STREET, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$102.87 ($51.49 SEWER, $13.07 STORM AND $38.31
GARBAGE), AND AUTHORIZE CITY CLERK TO NOTIFY
BLACK HAWK COUNTY TREASURER OF SAID
CANCELLATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the assessments for 801 Glenwood Street, in the amount of$417.95 for mowing and weed
assessments, 715 Hammond Avenue, in the amount of$184.57 for sidewalk repair, 1134 Bertch,
in the amount of$312.86 for sidewalk repair and 129 Chestnut Street, in the amount of$102.87
($51.49 Sewer, $13.07 Storm and $38.31 Garbage), are hereby abated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the assessments are hereby cancelled, along with any
penalty and interest accumulated against the amounts, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to
notify the Black Hawk County Treasurer of said cancellations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of April 2018.
