RESOLUTION NO. 2018-196
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS APRIL 19, 2018 AND
DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS APRIL 30, 2018 FOR THE
PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A 60' X 80' POLE
BUILDING, LOCATED AT THE YARD WASTE SITE, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, bid documents, etc. in conjunction
with the purchase and installation of a 60' X 80' pole building, located at the yard waste site, be
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the purchase and installation of a 60'
X 80' pole building, located at the yard waste site, be scheduled for April 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th day of April 2018,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the purchase and installation of a 60' X 80' pole
building, located at the yard waste site.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2"d day of April 2018.
