RESOLUTION NO. 2018-262
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE CONTRACT WITH
ADVANCED HEAT TREAT CORP. OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AND THE IOWA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
FOR HIGH QUALITY JOBS PROGRAM-TAX CREDIT
COMPONENT INCENTIVES, AND AUTHORIZE THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Economic Development Assistance Contract dated April 16, 2018, between Iowa
Economic Development Authority, Heat Treat Corp. and the City of Waterloo, as the local
sponsoring community, for state incentives through tax credits up to $230,880.00, by creating
high quality jobs through their expansion, is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of April 2018.
