RESOLUTION NO. 2018-248
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS MAY 3, 2018, AND DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS MAY 7, 2018, FOR THE FY 2018 SIDEWALK REPAIR
PROGRAM - ZONE 8, CONTRACT NO. 948, AND INSTRUCT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2018 Sidewalk Repair Program — Zone 8, Contract No. 948 are
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the FY 2018 Sidewalk Repair
Program — Zone 8, Contract No. 948 be scheduled for May 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of May 2018,to
hold a public hearing in conjunction with the, FY 2018 Sidewalk Repair Program — Zone 8,
Contract No. 948.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
