Sealed proposals will be received by the
City Clerk of the City of Waterloo,Iowa,at
her office in City Hall, 715 Mulberry St,
Waterloo, Iowa, on or before Thursday, Printer's Bill $44.64
April 5,2018, until 12:00 NOON,for the
2018 WWTP & LIFT STATIONS MOW-
ING as described in the plans and
specifications now on file in the City
Clerk's office,Waste Management Serv-
ices.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received for the 2018
WWTP&LIFT STATIONS MOWING will
be opened in the City Clerk's Office in
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, on Thursday,
April 5, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., and the
proposals will be referred to the Waste
Management Services for recommenda-
tion of award.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Waterloo
City Council will conduct a public hearing
on the proposed specifications and form
of contract for the WWTP& LIFT
STATIONS MOWINGG at at the City Council
Meeting, Monday, April 9, 2018. The
hearing will be held in the City Council
Chambers in Waterloo City Hall. The l Sed
contract documents are on file in the City Signed
Clerk's office, 715 Mulberry St., Waste
Management Services, 3505 Easton
Ave.,Waterloo,Iowa,for public examina-
tion. Any person interested may file
written objection with the City Clerk
before the date set for the hearing or Subscribed and sworn to before me this

SCOPE OF WORK
The Contractor shall provide all labor, y

mow the designated areas in accordance
with these specifications. _
CONTRACT PERIOD
The period of time covered under this
proposed contract shall ct approximately
April 17,2018,through October 15,2018.

All bids must be submitted on forms NOtar Pub11C
supplied by Waste Management Serv- y
ices. The bidder shall bid on a per unit
price(WITH EACH"Option"treated as a
separate unit)as shown on the Bid Form. Received Of
Each unit should be bid as a stand-alone
item and not merely as a component of a
total bid package that includes all options
together.
BID SECURITY REQUIRED
All bids must be accompanied, in a
separate envelope, by a certified or
cashier's check drawn on an Iowa bank
chartered under the laws of the United
States or the State of Iowa, a certified the sum of
share draft drawn on a Credit Union in
Iowa chartered under the laws of the
United States or the State of Iowa,or a
bid bond payable to the City of Waterloo, Dollars.
