RESOLUTION NO. 2018-273
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS, BID
DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING A DATE
OF BID OPENING AS MAY 17, 2018 AND DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS MAY 21, 2018, FOR THE PURCHASE OF SIX (6)
POLICE INTERCEPTOR AWD VEHICLES, AND INSTRUCT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the purchase of six (6) Police Interceptor AWD Vehicles are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the purchase of six (6) Police
Interceptor AWD Vehicles be scheduled for May 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo,
Iowa
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 21St day of May 2018,
to hold a public hearing in conjunction with the, purchase of six (6) Police Interceptor AWD
Vehicles.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
