RESOLUTION NO. 2018-295
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO ASPRO,
INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF
$7,168,904.23, AND APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BONDS,
AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FY 2018 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM
(DIVISION I+ ALTERNATE A + DIVISIONS II & III),
CONTRACT NO. 944, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,IOWA:
That the bid of Lehman Trucking and Excavating LLC of Waterloo, Iowa in the amount of
$19,000.00, is hereby awarded and the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance in conjunction
with the demolition and site clearance services at 807 and 809-811 East 4th Street„ described in the
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2018-136,
after public hearing on March 5, 2018 on published notice required by law, are hereby approved,
and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of
the City of Waterloo,Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of April 2018.
