RESOLUTION NO. 2018-271
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF THE CEDAR
VALLEY SPORTSPLEX TO HOLD ITS ANNUAL"RUN THE
BASES" 5K ON MAY 19, 2018 FROM 8:00 A.M. TO 10:00
A.M., COMMENCING AT THE CEDAR VALLEY
SPORTSPLEX AND CONCLUDING AT THE SINGLE SPEED
BREWERY, AND APPROVING BARRICADES AND TRAFFIC
CONTROL.
WHEREAS, the Cedar Valley Sportsplex made a written application to the City Council
asking that they be authorized and permitted to hold its Annual "Run the Bases" 5K on May 19,.
2018, and
WHEREAS, said event will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., commencing at the
Cedar Valley SportsPlex and concluding at the Single Speed Brewery.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request the Cedar Valley SportsPlex to hold its annual "Run the
Bases" 5K on May 19, 20.18 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., commencing at the Cedar Valley
SportsPlex and concluding at the Single Speed Brewery, and approving barricades and traffic
control, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of April 2018.
