RESOLUTION NO. 2018-302
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT,
ETC. AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS MAY 24,
2018 AND PUBLIC HEARING AS MAY 29, 2018, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 1 TON
DRW 4 X 4 WITH 84" CAB WITH SNOW PLOW PACKAGE,
AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc. for
the purchase of one (1) 1 ton DRW 4 X 4 with 84" cab with snow plow package, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening for the purchase of one (1) 1 ton DRW 4 X 4 with 84"
cab with snow plow package, be scheduled for May 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo,
Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th day of May 2018,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the purchase of one (1) 1 ton DRW 4 X 4 with
84" cab with snow plow package.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May 2018.
