RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FROM RALPH
LONGUS TO APPROVE ASHLEY UBBELOHDE 5K BENEFIT
WALK/RUN TO BE HELD ON JUNE 2, 2018 AT 8:00 A.M.
STARTING AND ENDING AT WEST HIGH SCHOOL.
WHEREAS, Ralph Longus has made a written application to the City Council asking that
he be authorized and permitted to hold the Ashley Ubbelohde 5K benefit walk/run to be held on
June 2, 2018, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 8:00 a.m., with the route commencing and
concluding at West High School located at 425 East Ridgeway Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Ralph Longus to hold the Ashley Ubbelohde 5K
walk/run event on June 2, 2018 beginning at 8:00 a.m., with the route commencing and
concluding in the area of West High School, located at 425 East Ridgeway Avenue, with the
route primarily on the residential streets near the school, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of May 2018.
