RESOLUTION NO. 2018-344
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BOND AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE OF PRICE INDUSTRIAL
ELECTRIC, INC., ROBINS, IOWA, FOR THE TRAFFIC
ADAPTIVE SIGNALS ON HWY. 218 AND SAN MARNAN
DRIVE AND FIBER OPTIC COMMUNICATIONS UPGRADE,
PROJECT 4STP-A-8155(743)--86-07, AND AUTHORIZE THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Price Industrial Electric, Inc. of Robins, Iowa, has submitted a bid in the
amount of$514,756.75 in conjunction with the Traffic Adaptive Signals on Hwy. 218 and San
Mannan Drive and Fiber Optic Communications Upgrade, Project#STP-A-8155(743)--86-07.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the bid of price Industrial Electric, Inc. in the amount of$514,756.75,
is hereby awarded, and the contract, bond and certificate of insurance, in conjunction with the
Traffic Adaptive Signals on Hwy. 218 and San Mannan Drive and Fiber Optic Communications
Upgrade, Project #STP-A-8155(743)--86-07, described in the specifications heretofore adopted
by this Council with Resolution No. 2018-317, after public hearing on May 14, 2018 on
published notice required by law, are hereby approved and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of May 2018.
