RESOLUTION NO. 2018-362
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING THE DATE OF BID OPENING AS JUNE 7, 2018,
AND PUBLIC HEARING AS JUNE 11, 2018, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES
AT 807, 809-811 EAST 4TH STREET, AND INSTRUCTING
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc. in
conjunction with the asbestos abatement services project at 807 and 809-811 East 4th Street, be
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the asbestos abatement services
project at 807, and 809-811 East 4th Street, be scheduled for June 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 11th day of June 2018,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the asbestos abatement services project at 807 and
809-811 East 4th Street.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
