RESOLUTION NO. 2018-364
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, ETC. AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS JUNE 21, 2018 AND PUBLIC
HEARING AS JUNE 25, 2018, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 2019 SINGLE AXLE, SNOW
CONTROL (PLOW), 37,000 GVW DUMP TRUCKS, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc. in
conjunction with the purchase of two (2) 2019 single axle, snow control (plow), 37,000 GVW
dump trucks, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with purchase of two (2) 2019 single axle,
snow control (plow), 37,000 GVW dump trucks, be scheduled for June 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 25th day of June 2018,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the purchase of two (2) 2019 single axle, snow
control (plow), 37,000 GVW dump trucks.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of May 2018.
