RESOLUTION NO. 2018-369
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
RYDELL CHEVROLET OF WATERLOO, IOWA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $47,131.60, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 1-TON DRW 4 X 4 PICKUP TRUCK
WITH 84" CAB INCLUDING A SNOW PLOW PACKAGE, FOR
THE SEWER DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, Rydell Chevrolet of Waterloo, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$47,131.60, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) 1-Ton
DRW 4 X 4 pickup truck with 84" cab including a snow plow package, for the Sewer
Department, and
WHEREAS, Rydell Chevrolet submitted a written contract, per the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2018-367, after public
hearing on May 29, 2018, in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) 1-Ton DRW 4 X 4 pickup
truck with 84" cab including a snow plow package, for the Sewer Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Rydell Chevrolet in the amount of$47,131.60, in conjunction with
the purchase of one (1) 1-Ton DRW 4 X 4 pickup truck with 84" cab including a snow plow
package, for the Sewer Department, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract submitted by Karl Chevrolet, in conjunction with the purchase
of one (1) 1-Ton DRW 4 X 4 pickup truck with 84" cab including a snow plow package, for the
Sewer Department, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 291h day of May 2018.
