RESOLUTION NO. 2018-329
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO B & B
BUILDERS AND SUPPLY, OF WATERLOO, IOWA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $339,923.38 AND APPROVING CONTRACT,
BONDS AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2018 SIDEWALK REPAIR
PROGRAM - ZONE 8, CONTRACT NO. 948, AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,IOWA:
That the bid of B & B Builders and Supply, of Waterloo, Iowa in the amount of
$339,923.38, is hereby awarded and the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance in conjunction
with the FY 2018 Sidewalk Repair Program- Zone 8, Contract No. 948, described in the
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2018-306,
after public hearing on May 7, 2018 on published notice required by law, are hereby approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the
City of Waterloo,Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of May 2018.
