RESOLUTION NO. 2018-384
REQUEST FROM MAIN STREET WATERLOO TO HOLD THE
MAYOR'S INDEPENDENCE DAY EXTRAVAGANZA ON JUNE
30, 2018 FROM 3:30 P.M. TO MIDNIGHT TO BE HELD AT THE
RIVERLOOP AMPHITHEATER, INCLUDING A
WATERHAWKS SHOW, LIVE MUSIC, FIREWORKS AND THE
CLOSURE OF THE PARK AVE BRIDGE DURING THE EVENT.
WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo has requested to hold the Mayor's Independence Day
Extravaganza on June 30th, 2018 from 3:30 p.m. to midnight to be held at the Riverloop
Amphitheater, including a Waterhawks show, live music, fireworks and the closure of the Park
Avenue bridge during the event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street Waterloo to hold the Mayor's
Independence Day Extravaganza on June 30th, 2018 from 3:30 p.m. to midnight to be held at the
Riverloop Amphitheater, including a Waterhawks show, live music, fireworks and the closure of
the Park Ave bridge during the event, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4t' day of June 2018.
