RESOLUTION NO. 2018-397
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF HEARING AS JUNE 18,
2018, TO APPROVE MASTER LEASE AGREEMENT AND
LEASE SUPPLEMENTS WITH VERIZON WIRELESS TO BE
ABLE TO PLACE EQUIPMENT ON CITY LIGHT
STRUCTURES, FOR A PERIOD OF TWENTY-FIVE (25)
YEARS, WITH SUPPLEMENTS FOR FIVE YEARS AT $30
PER MONTH/POLE, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO SIGN AND FULLY EXECUTE ALL
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th day of June 2018,
to approve Master Lease Agreement and Lease Supplements with Verizon Wireless to be able to
place equipment on city light structures, for a period of twenty-five (25)years, with supplements
for five years at $30 per month/pole.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of June 2018.
