RESOLUTION NO. 2018-446
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY PETERSON CONTRACTORS,
INC., OF REINBECK, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$547,374.90 FOR THE FY 2017 WAGNER ROAD SANITARY
SEWER EXTENSION AND GRADING, CONTRACT NO. 899,
AND RECEIVE AND FILE TWO (2) YEAR MAINTENANCE
BOND.
WHEREAS, Peterson Contractors, Inc., of Reinbeck, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2017 Wagner Road Sanitary Sewer Extension.and Grading, Contract
No. 899, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Peterson Contractors, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the project plans and specifications, at a total cost of$547,374.90.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
work, for work performed by Peterson Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $547,374.90, in
conjunction with the FY 2017 Wagner Road Sanitary Sewer Extension and Grading, Contract
No. 899, are hereby approved, and the two (2) year maintenance bond is hereby received and
filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 181h day of June 2018.
