typographical error in the t t.,__
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
and MidAmerican Energy Compan err,
tered into franchise agreement for Electric
Ordinance No. 5028, adapted by the City
Council on February 21, 2011, and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo and
MidAmerican Energy Company agree the
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Section 14 of Ordinance No. 5028
reads as follows:
Section 14. There is hereby imposed
upas, and shall collected from persons
located within the corporate limits oi' the
City who are retail e€ectnc customers of
the Campany, receiving service pursuant
to the tarff, a franchise fee of the gross
receipts from each revenue class as set
forth below, minus uncollectable amounts,
derived by the Company from the delivery
and sale of electric energy to such
customers. The Company shah remit
such franchise fees to the City within 80
daps of collection. City imposes the
fat#awing fee upon the following revenue
classes, effective July 1, 2013, and July
1, 2014, for the length of the franchise
agreement:

Residential Customers 2%3%
Non -Residential Customers 2%3%
2. That Section 14 of Ordinance No. 5028
is hereby struck and the following Section
14 is substituted therefore: Section 14:
There is hereby imposed upon the
customers a franchise fee of 4 percent
upon the gross revenues, minus uncolec-
tib® accounts, generated from sales of
electricity and distribution service, pur-
suant to the Tariff, by the Company within
the corporate limits of the City. The
franchise fee shall be remitted by the
Company to the City on or before the last
business day of the calendar quarter
followingthe close of the calendar quarter
in whicft franchise fee is charged.

Courier, a daily newspaper printed in Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, once commencing on the 18th

that the annexed rate of advertised is the regular legal
rate of said newspaper, and that the following is a
correct bill for publishing said notice.
